I was commissioned by BCL, a swiss private bank, to design an “Investment Simulator”, an interactive tool to visualize the dynamic interactions among the chief variables in investments. The Investment Simulator enables the bank advisors to communicate and illustrate to their clients the correlations between volatility and duration for different products and their impact on the client’s portfolio.
challenges included the visualization of multi dimensional variables and the use of a visual style that would match the essential and professional bank identity. The interaction had to be kept simple enough for the clients to be able to follow it. The project was in collaboration with a software developer.
